Draft Carrickfergus Regeneration Investment Programme (CRIP) and Carrickfergus Town Centre Strategy
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and its public sector partners (the CRIP Board) are undertaking the development of a ten year Town Centre Strategy for Carrickfergus and seeking to agree a Regeneration Investment Programme for the town. As part of this process The CRIP Board has engaged the services of Venture International Ltd to work with its team to engage with traders and business people in and around Carrickfergus to ensure that their views are central to the development of the strategy and the Carrickfergus Regeneration Investment Programme.
Members of Venture’s team will visit each business leaving information about the Town Strategy and Draft Carrickfergus Regeneration Investment Programme over the 18/11/2019 to 28/11/2019 timeframe. The information will include an audit template which will allow you to share your views with the Council. We fully encourage you to share your views and vision for the town with Council so that we are best placed to secure funding required to address the challenges that you identify and deliver on the opportunities available to Carrickfergus.
The focus of the Town Centre Strategy will be on Carrick’s commercial activity, how it contributes to the quality of life of the citizens living in and around Carrickfergus, how we can deliver a top quality range of experiences for visitors to Carrickfergus and how we can better position the town as a potential location for companies.
