Our fitness suites at Amphitheatre, Larne Leisure Centre and Seven Towers Leisure Centre, reopened on Saturday 14 November.

Access to our centres is strictly by bookable session only for both members and non-members.

Sessions can be booked 7 days in advance. 

Sanitising stations are available through each centre, you are asked to use these when entering and leaving the centre.

Following the latest expert advice from the Government, Public Health Agency and Department for Health regarding increasing efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus),Council’s leisure, sports and cultural facilities are closed until further notice.

MEActive membership fees (including adult, family, concession, corporate and staff memberships) will not be charged and direct debits will be frozen from 1 April 2020.

How long will this last?

At this stage, we are not sure but we will keep this under review and ensure that our members and the public are notified.

What if I have paid my membership upfront?

We will extend your membership for the duration of the suspension.

What if someone wants to join as a new MEActive member?

We are currently not issuing any new MEActive memberships at present. New members will be able to join once the current situation is resolved.

Are classes, courses and facility bookings (including swimming lessons, gymnastics & dance classes) still going ahead?

No, all classes, courses and facility bookings are cancelled and these will be frozen or refunds can be made upon request email:
