Enkalon Community Foundation
Since 1985 Enkalon Foundation awards have been are open to community groups and organisations across Northern Ireland. Historically the range of applicants has ranged from youth groups, senior citizens clubs, charities, self-help groups, animal welfare, arts and mental health groups.
The Enkalon Foundation is a local grant-making trust which makes small grants primarily in the fields of cross-community, unemployment and generally helping disadvantaged people. 2017 is the 30th Anniversary of the first Enkalon awards being given out and the Trustees have decided to mark the occasion by launching a one-off Community Fund to benefit the former Antrim Borough area.
The aim of the fund is to enable groups and charities to develop projects which address the areas of need highlighted in the recently published plan.
This is an extension of Enkalon Foundation's objective to enhance the quality of life in the former Antrim Borough and has been designed to compliment the ongoing general fund.
An application checklist can be found on the Enkalon Foundation website.
