Summer Scheme Programmes

Our popular summer schemes are back for another year, promising to provide a wide range of summer fun activities during the holidays.

Enrolment for Council-run programmes will commence at 9am on Wednesday 6 June at Seven Towers Leisure Centre (Ballymena); Amphitheatre (Carrickfergus) and Larne Leisure Centre (Larne).

If aquatic activities are a firm favourite then our Leisure Centres offer an extensive programme of swimming lessons, as well as poolside activities and rookie lifesaving sessions.

Summer schemes feature in all three towns across the Borough, providing a diverse range of sports, arts and crafts, theatre and planned cinema visits.

All Council run activities can be booked using the parental consent form at the back of the programme. Don’t forget the various additional camps and activities organised by local sports clubs within Mid and East Antrim, encouraging those future Wimbledon winners and Supercup stars.

With so much choice there’s lots to keep kids content in Mid and East Antrim!

Supervised activities include sport and physical activity, dance, arts and crafts, drama, team building, and with the odd day trip thrown in for good measure.

Schemes are open to children aged from 6 to14 years old, and will run from 10am to 3pm each day, with a supervised lunch hour from 12pm to 1pm.
