Play Park Investment Programme

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council are delighted to announce that work will be commencing for the refurbishment of 5 play parks in the Borough.

Woodburn Play Park, Carrickfergus

The appointed contractor, Haffey’s Sports Grounds, will take control of the site on Monday 30 January. 

The design of the new play park at Woodburn was developed following a community consultation process which helped shape this fantastic provision for children of all abilities. 

Wilson Crescent Play Park, Ballymena 

The appointed contractor, Haffey’s Sports Grounds, will take control of the site on 30 January 2023.

Ferris Play Park, Larne

The appointed contractor, Haffey’s Sports Grounds, will take control of the site on Monday 20 February.

Martinstown Play Park and Wildlife Area

The appointed contractor, Haffey’s Sports Grounds, will take control of the site on Monday 27 March.

Ahoghill Play Park

The appointed contractor, Haffey’s Sports Grounds, will take control of the site on Monday 10 April.
