An amber weather warning for Snow and Ice has been issued across Northern Ireland.

Bin Collection Update - We’re aware that, due to the weather and road conditions, some bins have not been collected in Ballymena and Carrickfergus. If your bin was not collected please leave it out for collection as we hope these will be collected by Friday (weather permitting).

While you are in Glenarm, be sure to visit Blackthorn and Willow at number 2 Castle Street in the centre of the village. This delightful shop, sited in an old pub, stocks an interesting range of locally produced artisan foods and is an agent for North Coast Smokehouse’s smoked organic Glenarm salmon.

In addition, ‘Blackthorn Breads’: a unique range of artisan loaves (baked on the premises) are available every Saturday. It is also stocks a treasure trove of beautiful and useful goods designed by local craftsmen and women; original artwork and prints, and a small selection of books of local and wider interest.

Tea, coffee and toast (from a selection of Blackthorn Breads) are served in the old bar.

Blackthorn and Willow is open from 11.00 to 5.00, Wednesdays to Saturdays, March to December.
