Amphitheatre Wellness Centre
Carrickfergus's Amphitheatre Leisure Centre provides state of the art facilities for residents and visitors to the Borough who benefit from a range of modern amenities such as the health and fitness suite, a state of the art gym facility, relaxing Therma Spa area, children’s play areas and improved access for all.
Centre Notices:
Changing Area (Gym)
We are currently working with an external company to resolve the shower issues at Amphitheatre.
To facilitate the work the following areas will be disrupted.
Female Members (gym):
Changing rooms will be unavailable from Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 March 2026.
Changing, lockers and toilets can be accessed from 5.00pm on all days (no showers)
Pool changing available during this time.
Male Member (gym):
Monday 16 to Friday 20 March 2026
Changing, toilets and lockers available, there will be no showers during this time as current showers being replaced.
St Patrick's Day Closure
This centre will be closed on Tuesday 17 March 2026.
Easter Closures
Amphitheatre will close on the following days:
- Monday 6 April 2026
- Tuesday 7 April 2026
Spa Closure
Amphitheatre Spa will close on Monday 12 January 2026 for refurbishment.
Members can continue using Larne LC and Seven Towers LC Spa areas during this time.

Simply click the link above or button to the left to access our new online booking portal for classes.
Classes can be booked up to seven days in advance and booking opens at 8am on Monday - Saturday and 9am on Sunday.
