What's it about?

The Braid Real Music Club are thrilled to welcome Liam Ó Maonlaí to the town hall stage. Following on from making his Ballymena debut in 2017, the Braid Real Music Club are sure that this will be a unique evening of music and song.

Liam Ó Maonlaí is an internationally renowned Irish musician, best known as a member of the Hothouse Flowers.

Hailing from Dublin, he credits his father as being the main influence from his love of the Irish Language of which he is a fluent speaker and in 2005 he released a solo album entitled ‘Rian’ which is a collection of tunes and songs in Irish.

Known for performing barefoot we look forward to Liam Ó Maonlaí playing the Braid's stunning Shimmel grand piano.

Support for this show will be local songwriter Al Black. A favourite of the Braid Real Music Club, Al returns to perform some old favourites and some new offerings to what is a now established “listening and appreciative” crowd.
