Events Guide - March to June 2019Monday 11 March 2019 to Sunday 30 June 2019
Welcome to our Spring edition of Mid and East Antrim’s What’s On Guide, brimming with activities and events for all to enjoy.
St Patrick’s Day features the traditional climb to the summit of Slemish, followed with a stop at Broughshane’s craft and food market and the entertainment hub. Then in May, we welcome back Larne’s Friends Goodwill Music Festival, with two days of live music and a new cookery theatre.
If performances are your thing, why not book a featured concert at The Braid or Larne’s McNeill Theatre? For those with a creative flair, make a date to visit one of our scheduled art exhibitions or create your own painting under the guidance of the resident artist.
Carnfunnock Country Park re-opens after its brief winter hibernation with several Wild in the Park events, a full-on Easter programme and of course the long established band concerts. Lots for both children and adults alike!
With plenty of parks and open spaces to explore, a little MEAdventures could be right on your doorstep. Bring the kids along to our Pop Up Play Days or take time out yourself to join a planned walk through parts of our stunning countryside.
Whatever the mood takes you, we have plenty going on at Mid and East Antrim to ease you into Spring!
