Mid and East Antrim Borough Council continues support for Budget Energy SuperCupNI

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has confirmed its continued support for the internationally renowned Budget Energy SuperCupNI ahead of this summer’s tournament.
As one of the tournament’s valued local authority partners, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council continues to support the delivery of one of the world’s leading international youth football tournaments.
The borough will host fixtures across the Boys’ Minor, Junior and Premier Sections throughout tournament week, helping showcase Mid and East Antrim on a global stage while also delivering significant economic, tourism and community benefits across the local area.
Now entering its 43rd year, the Budget Energy SuperCupNI remains one of the world’s premier international youth football tournaments and continues to provide a globally recognised platform for the next generation of elite talent.
The 2026 tournament will once again bring some of the biggest names in world football to Northern Ireland, with elite academies including Manchester United, Liverpool, Rangers, Celtic, Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton, Sunderland, Leeds United and West Ham United confirmed to compete this summer.
Taking place from Sunday 26th July to Friday 31st July, the tournament will welcome 64 Boys’ and Girls’ teams from across the globe, with more than 1,000 players competing in over 150 fixtures across five age groups.

The participation of some of the world’s leading football academies in Mid and East Antrim will make for another exciting and memorable week of football this summer.”
