The roll out of the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Change Fund, alongside the awareness and training programme, aims to achieve “changed attitudes, behaviours, and cultures – everyone in society understands what violence against women and girls is, including its root causes, and plays an active role in preventing it”. The Workplace Charter on Domestic Violence seeks to ensure that our organisation will know how to recognise and respond to domestic violence and abuse, for everyone. |

In terms of the new co-mingled dry recycling, kerbside boxes are being replaced by a wheeled bin, reducing the need for manual handling. The research findings will be shared within the Council to inform service-level improvements, which may include the provision of reasonable adjustments. For example, information will be shared to the Leisure department on the provision of gym equipment and quiet spaces, to Parks and Open Spaces in relation to ensuring wheelchair-friendly and accessible parks and playparks, including the provision of an adequate number of disabled parking spaces, to Economic Development regarding employment opportunities, Events with regards to adequate toilet provision, and to the Communications department in relation to the provision of accessible information, etc. |
