Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has a duty of make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the exercise of its functions under the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 2014.

Improvement is defined as an activity that enhances the sustainable quality of life and environment for ratepayers and communities.

We are required to set Improvement Objectives and to publish them in a Performance Improvement Plan by 30 June each year. These objectives must be set in the interest of our citizens.
