Carrick Coastal Vibes brings a jam-packed afternoon of free family fun and live music

Carrick Coastal Vibes will take over Castle Green (at the front of Carrickfergus Castle) on Monday 25 August – promising an afternoon filled with amazing music and fun-filled entertainment for everyone!

Organised by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, the event will take place from 1pm-4pm with a packed programme of live music, workshops, and children’s activities including:

  • messy play,
  • petting farm,
  • pop-up scooter half pipe,
  • breakdance workshop,
  • football skills workshop by Sam Madden,
  • climbing wall,
  • circus skills workshop,
  • soft play,
  • face painting, and
  • Toddler Rave

There will be performances from the talented Susi Pagel and Little Feet - providing the perfect soundtrack to the summer celebration, plus visitors can browse an artisan market featuring local traders selling a wide range of unique goods - from homemade baked treats, fudge, and beaded jewellery to candles, wax melts, crochet creations, handbags, accessories, personalised gifts, and even delicious doggy treats!

There’s no need to book, just come along and soak up the atmosphere with music, entertainment, and fun designed especially for young people and children.

Carrick Coastal Vibes is one of a number of exciting events taking place in Carrickfergus, with the following week seeing a rare public appearance by the Irish Guards as they mark their 125th anniversary with a ceremonial parade and musical marching display in Castle Car Park on Thursday 4 September from 4pm - 5pm.
