Tuesday 28 October 2025
From 17 to 22 November 2025, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is proud to present a vibrant programme of free events and activities as part of the Mid and East Antrim Enterprise Week, which coincides with Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025.
The programme of Global Entrepreneurship Week business and start-up events are designed to promote entrepreneurship, support new start-ups, and inspire innovation across our local business community.
This year’s schedule includes expert-led sessions on starting your own business, building visibility across digital platforms, and maintaining physical and mental wellbeing.
Participants can also explore the Social Enterprise route and discover how sustainability can drive success.
Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Jackson Minford, said: “Global Entrepreneurship Week is a celebration of innovation, ambition, and the power of ideas.
“It’s a week-long period when people around the world are inspired to unlock their potential, build meaningful connections, and access the knowledge and support they need to thrive in business.
“It’s also a powerful reminder of how collaboration can empower entrepreneurs and strengthen communities.
“In my civic role, I’m privileged to meet many of the incredible entrepreneurs and businesses that make Mid and East Antrim such a dynamic place to live and work.
“Our local Enterprise Week events are a shining example of the impact that entrepreneurial spirit can have across the Borough.
“The week of events reflects Mid and East Antrim Borough Council’s unwavering commitment to nurturing local talent, encouraging bold ideas, and helping our business community grow stronger together - for the benefit of our economy and everyone who calls this place home.”
Networking opportunities include the Ballymena Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Breakfast in partnership with Danske Bank, and the Ballymena Business Roadshow, perfect for connecting with like-minded professionals.
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council are also celebrating the next generation of entrepreneurs with a post-primary school competition focused on ‘The Future of Our Town Centre’ and will be announcing the winners of the ‘Primary School Snack Attack’ competition.
With events running both in person and online, morning through to evening, there hasn’t been a better time to get involved.
