Medals all round at Link the Town fun day

The ‘Link the Town’ fun day once again united runners and walkers of all ages and abilities when it returned to Ballymena on Saturday 13 September.
The free family-friendly event at St Patrick’s Link Road saw participants enjoy a 2.5k walk and run, while others tackled a Golden Mile timed race organised by Ballymena Runners.
There was plenty to entertain everyone with games, music and more organised by D3MAC, Ballykeel 2 & District Community Association, and Doury Road Development Group - supported by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and the Department for Communities and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s ‘Housing for All’ Shared Housing Programme.
Well done to everyone who earned a medal – including our Mayor, Councillor Jackson Minford!
