The play park in the heart of Greenisland has reopened

Following major refurbishment by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council Greenisland Play Park is a vibrant, inclusive and modern play space.
The upgraded facility has been designed to ensure children of all ages and abilities can play, explore and socialise in a safe and engaging environment.
Featuring a wide range of new equipment, improved safety surfacing, enhanced accessibility and welcoming seating areas, the redevelopment reflects the Council’s commitment to providing high‑quality outdoor spaces that support play, wellbeing and community connection.
Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Jackson Minford, said: “We are delighted to see the completion of the Greenisland Play Park refurbishment.
“This investment provides a high‑quality, accessible space for children and families in the area to enjoy for many years to come.
