Locally, Council are leading the Community Planning process, which is a statutory duty, by working with a wide range of statutory partners and local communities to develop a shared vision for the area. This relates to all aspects of community life and involves people working together to plan and deliver better services which will make a real difference to people’s lives.

Working together, we want to make this an even better place for all of our citizens.

This is therefore an ambitious plan and over the 15-year life of the plan, the partnership has identified a range of outcomes we want to deliver for Mid and East Antrim.

Public Consultation Events

Three public consultation events have been organised to allow you to find out more about the Community Plan and to ask any questions you may have about it.

These events are taking place in the three main towns within the borough.  The dates and times are as follows:

Tullyglass House Hotel, Galgorm Road, Ballymena
6.00pm to 8.30pm*

Thursday 2 February 2017
Carrickfergus Town Hall, Antrim Street, Carrickfergus
6.00pm to 8.30pm*

Thursday 9 February 2017
Larne Town Hall, Upper Cross Street, Larne
6.00pm to 8.30pm*

*A finger buffet will be available for participants from 6pm.
