Ballymena relocation of services

From 16 April 2024, the reception in The Braid will be responsible for dealing with customer queries, assisting members of the public, dog licensing, environmental health payments and waste payments.

The services will be based in the reception area of The Braid - easier to access due to its central location and offering improved accessibility.

Ballymena’s Registration Office relocated to The Braid (Bridge Street, Ballymena) on Thursday 8 February 2024.

*From 16 April 2024, the reception in The Braid will be responsible for dealing with customer queries, assisting members of the public, dog licensing, environmental health payments and waste payments.

Work to relocate the service to the reception area of The Braid is almost complete.

The new location is easier to access due to its central location and provides improved accessibility.

The Braid has lift access to all floors and there are car parking spaces for customers in close proximity to the front entrance of the building.

The reception office opening hours will remain the same: Monday to Friday, 9am – 4.30pm. 

The reception is closed on bank/public holidays.

Members of the public can also pay for services such as dog licensing or building applications online through Council.Direct.

*Please note, customers will be unable to access the Ardeevin building from 16 April 2024.
