Holiday Toilet Closure dates
All of our Council toilets will be open over St. Patrick’s Day, Easter Monday and Tuesday, and both May Bank Holidays, except the following:
Ballymena area closures:
- Broughshane - Monday 1 April 2024
- Cullybackey - Monday 1 April 2024
- Portglenone - Monday 1 April 2024
Radar Keys
All Council toilets have disability access (with the exception of Broughshane toilets).
The National Key Scheme, known as the Radar Scheme, was developed to protect valuable disabled facilities from damage and misuse.
Toilets under the Radar scheme require a key to open.
The Radar keys can be purchased from our receptions:
• The Braid, Ballymena (Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm)
• Smiley Buildings, Larne (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm) and
• Carrickfergus Civic Centre (Wednesday - Friday 9.30am - 4pm (closed for lunch 1pm - 2pm)
Radar keys cost £5.25 to purchase.
