Portglenone Marina

The Marina at Portglenone is situated off the Gortgole Road on the banks of the River Bann, about 9 miles west of Ballymena. In addition to the 30 berths, the facility also provides a trailer park, slipway rigging area, canoe steps, pump out facility, security fencing, car park, camping area and picnic areas overlooking the river. The entrance to the site is open from 7am each morning and is closed at dusk.

The new Marina Visitor Complex opened in April 2014 with a Motor Home Service Point.

There are showers, toilets and laundry facilities inside the complex for boat owners and overnight visitors. Charge for Motorhomes is £15 per night. If the caretaker is not in the immediate vicinity to check you in, please call the Marina Office to have them called.

Poontoon berthing
Annual - 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 £68 (inclusive of rates and VAT)
Visitor berthing
Overnight £2.20 per night
Weekly £12.50 per 7 nights from arrival
Monthly £30.00 per 30 nights from arrival
Solar Room
Berth holders rates: £10.00 per hour, or part thereof
£30.00 a consecutive 4 hour period
External hirers: £17.00 per hour, or part thereof
£45.00 a consecutive 4 hour period

All berthing and storage are at owner’s risk. Owners must accept full responsibility for their vessel(s) and/or equipment whilst on Council property. No responsibility whatsoever will rest with Mid & East Antrim Borough Council. It is incumbent upon all owners to agree to the General and Special Conditions pertaining and to satisfy themselves that the services and facilities provided by Mid & East Antrim Borough Council at any specific location are suitable for their own particular requirements.
