Missed Collections

Please ensure you have checked your correct bin collection day before reporting a missed collection.

Missed Bins Collections

Missed bin collections may happen due to:

  • bad weather conditions
  • vehicle breakdown
  • as a result of road closures

If a missed collection happens for any of the reasons listed above, bins will normally be collected within 1 – 2 working days, weather permitting, from the normal time of collection.

Missed bins on a Friday will be collected early the following week.

Missed Black Bins

If a missed collection happens for any of the reasons listed above, bins will normally be collected within 24hrs, but no longer than 48hrs, weather permitting, from normal time of collection.

Should there be insufficient capacity then you can bring your recycling boxes to the Household Recycling Centres.

Missed Brown Bins

Missed organic brown bin collections must be reported within 24 hours from time of missed collection and will normally be collected within 24hrs, but no longer than 48hrs from normal time of collection (excluding December, January and February where capacity would allow them to wait until next collection day).

Missed Blue Bins

Missed blue bin collections must be reported within 24 hours from time of missed collection and will normally be collected within 24hrs, but no longer than 48hrs from normal time of collection.

Missed Kerbie Boxes

Bryson Recycling are responsible for emptying Ballymena and Carrickfergus kerbie boxes.

Bryson operates the policy that non-collections reported before noon shall be collected the same day. Non-collections reported afternoon shall be collected the next working day.
