Order a new bin

Information for householders and customers about bin purchases and free bins/boxes is available in our FAQ section.

This section is worth referring to before you order recycling containers or proceed with a bin purchase.

Please note: We currently have a limited stock of Black Bins which may result in deliveries taking longer than usual.

We offer 3 easy and convenient options to purchase new bins:

  1. Online
  2. by phone
  3. in person

1. Online

To buy a bin online you will need to create an account for Council.Direct and follow the simple instructions given on the link below.

Request for service

Residents/ Customers who have previously registered with Council.Direct will be able to use their existing login details.

We would advise reading this before you place an order.

2. By Phone

Payments for new bins can be made over the phone (by card) on T: 0300 124 5000 and selecting option 0 and then:

  • 1 for Ballymena area
  • 2 for Larne area
  • 3 for Carrickfergus area

Reception Operators in each area will direct you to your local Cashdesk.

3. In Person

Payments for new bins can be made (by cash or card) in person at:
