Country Park’s Adventure Nature Trail Get Wicked for Halloween.
This self-guided Halloween hunt around the wicked woodlands with lots of frights along the way!
Start at the Visitor Centre where you collect your workbook and map, from there, simply follow the markers, read the information boards and solve the clues!
£2 per child to include a workbook each & a medal on completion.
Infant’s under 2 go free and adults go free.

Come along on Thursday 28 or Friday 29 October for an extra scare when ‘Wicked Woods goes Wild’.
Take a walk around the woods and you never know what you might find!
Spooky Storytellers and Halloween Characters await your arrival.
This Enhanced Halloween version of the trail includes a spooky storyteller and actors in Halloween fancy dress.
Storytelling sessions will last 20mins and will run every half hour from 1.00pm-3.30pm.
The storytelling takes place in the Walled Garden amphitheatre. You can go to whichever session you prefer, at the start of your trail experience or maybe at the end after you have finished the trail.

Everyone knows that the woods only really get wicked after the sun goes down.
Join us on this truly wicked adventure where ghosts and ghouls may appear around any corner. This evening trail is ADULT only and we recommend it is suitable for 16yrs +.
This enhanced Halloween version of the trail includes actors in Halloween fancy dress. Scares may be waiting around every corner. Please stay on the trail path and do not venture into wooded areas. Staff will be onsite to help & direct. Please note - we may use strobe lighting and fog machines. If you have any sensitivity to this please DO NOT take part in the trail.
This Adult trail includes a 20% off voucher to use at Parklands Cafe on 31 October 2021 only. The voucher can be collected from our Visitor Centre staff on arrival with trail booking confirmation.

Parklands Café at the Visitor Centre, offer hot food, drinks and snacks (Please check opening times).
The shop at the Visitor Centre has a range of small kids toys and many other gifts for sale.
Public toilets are located at the Visitor Centre.
We have lots of open space and picnic tables within the 191-hectare country park.
Please take lots of photos on the way around the trail – we even have a selfie board to use. Tag us on all your social media.
Larger prams or wheelchairs are NOT suitable. The paths on the trail can be steep and rough underfoot in places.
Country Park parking fees apply - £4 peak, £1 off-peak and free parking is available at Carnfunnock Bay and Drains Bay which are both within walking distance of the park.
