Swimming Pool
There are two public pools at the Amphitheatre; a small pool with a slide and water features and a 25-metre main pool.
The versatility of these pools enable them to be used for a variety of activities including; public swim sessions, aqua fit classes and dedicated lane swimming.
As well as the main pools we also have a dedicated learner pool.
With a depth range up to 0.9 metres, this pool is ideal for introducing smaller children to water.

Under-16s must leave both pools by 8.45pm every weekday evening to allow for Adults Only Swimming.
School sessions will be held during term time however there will be a lane system in operation to enable public swimming to continue.
During peak times (evenings and weekends), session swimming may be introduced to avoid overcrowding in the pool; check with Amphitheatre staff to avoid disappointment.
Please note that we reserve the right to close areas of the centre from time to time at our discretion, e.g. for maintenance repairs, refurbishment or cleaning.

Thermal Spa
The facilities in our Therma Spa include a spa pool, steam room and sauna. Users must be at least 16 years of age to access the Therma Spa.
Casual Visits
You can access the Therma Spa facilities by paying for a casual visit which also covers use of the Swimming Pool and the Gymnasium.
Before using the gym, all visitors MUST have an Induction, costing £10.00.
